Hi! Well, I have officially entered bloggity land. I admit, I have been an avid reader for many months. I sit here at my computer hoping from site to site - anticipating what may be occurring in the lives of these women who so accurately describe exactly what could be going on in my own home. When would I become an official blogger - and not just an anonymous viewer? As soon as I started getting to know some of those blogs out there, I knew my time was limited. Today is the day! I knew it was time to begin when I would be doing something with my Little One, and then would have the thought race through my mind: "You could blog about that..." Or, when I am taking pictures and think, "would that be good enough to post on a blog?" However, let me clarify, I am a pro at reading the blogs, I am not a pro at writing them and doing all the technical stuff. My Hubby will have to help me with those details I am sure, but guess what? He is in Texas tonight on a business trip and I got this far with out him! :)
Oh, and about the name. I have Hokey Pokey on the brain. My Little One loves to dance to the Hokey Pokey. I sing it all of the time. He gets his little bottom shaken and his little knees a bend'n. I'll sing the chorus (come on sing along!) "You do the Hokey Pokey, You do the Hokey Pokey, You do the Hokey Pokey, that's what it's all a..." and then I stop and my little one proudly shouts "boh!". We're working on the pronunciation of a and t. We can sing it, and sing it, and sing it, and I would still want to sing it some more. I just can't get enough of him singing his little part. Each time it warms my Mommy heart. And, I know that soon enough he will be pronouncing that A and T. The more of his little boyness I get to treasure, the better.
