Seven Months!

Baby Brother is seven months today! Here's some of what we've been up to...This week the weather has been GORGEOUS! Yesterday my car outside temp reader said it was 93 degrees! We've spent a ton of time out and about. Two days ago we tried the park swing - he wasn't too sure what to think.

This is our neighbor and friend Baby P. She is a month younger than Baby Brother. Her mama and I have become really good friends - and we spend a lot of time together. We walk regularly - as well as go on little outings. Here we are going to local story time. :)

We've also started solid foods - although it's been a slow start. He wants nothing to do with rice cereal, and has had a allergic reaction to applesauce. He's proving to be sensitive - as we also had an allergic reaction to Huggies diapers. But, peas have been a BIG hit.

Other milestones that Baby Brother has figured out - he loves to blow raspberries - and it's so entertaining to watch him do so. He also has figure out how to wave hello. When the family is together and talking, that's when he starts waving and blowing his raspberries. Just putting in what he can to the family conversation! :)

Like A Brother

It has been so fun to see the boys bonding with one another. Baby Brother thinks that Little One is hillarious and watches his every move. Here are some of the most current "brother" shots.When we got back from Jamaica, Baby Brother and I came down with a pretty yucky bug. And, because a Thomas the Engine sticker makes everything better, Little One was certain that sharing his stickers would make Baby Brother feel better. Here you can see three of the six stickers that were so generously shared.

Yesterday morning I awoke with Hubs telling me that I would want to see what was going on in the boys room. And this is what I found. Little One had crawled into the crib and they were snuggling. What a sweet way to begin our day! I love how they both are sucking their thumbs and snuggling their sweet lovies.

Six Months!

Our sweet Baby Brother is six months old! Can I take a minute and just tell you a little bit about our little bundle?

• He LOVES to cuddle and snuggle.
• He is completely content lying on his back playing with whatever. He can roll over, but doesn't seem to have any desire or need to do so.
• Big Brother can get him giggling like no one else can.
• He is a very easy - going baby. As long as he's where the action is, he's happy as a clam.
• We tried rice cereal this week - and so far, he's not a fan.
  
• When no one is around, and the house is quiet, that's when he decides to talk it up.
  
• I call him my joy bug - because he always cracks a smile or giggle when I need it the most.
• He has wild hair - that's becoming a natural mo hawk.
• He weighs 15 pounds and is in the 25%ile across the board.
• He used to sleep through the night. Now he's waking up every four hours. Not too sure what to do about that...

We love you little man! Thanks for bringing so much joy into our hearts and home!
